Karen Vega began her broadcasting career with Univision Colorado 4 years ago as a Reporter, she is now the Producer and Anchor for the 10pm Newscast. Karen holds 6 Emmy nominations and has won a Colorado Broadcasters Association award. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and migrated to the United States at the age of two with her family. She grew up in the eastern plains of Colorado, in the small city of Fort Morgan. Vega completed her broadcasting education at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
