Shannon is a Flight Paramedic for Air Life Denver. With a strong calling to be hands-on during crises and disasters, she couldn't wait to work in emergency medicine. Zitting attended Creighton University for a Bachelor's in Emergency Medical Services and worked the next 7 years as a firefighter and paramedic in Omaha, Nebraska and in the emergency department/trauma center. In 2012, she transitioned to the challenging and exciting world of helicopter EMS and have loved the opportunities for physical, mental, and spiritual challenges and growth, along with the amazing people I have come to know along the way.
